UNTAMED CAST
Shaun Sorrells (Hot Songz) is from Somerset, NJ. As a son of a COGIC pastor and a supernaturally loving mother, Shaun came to know the Lord as a child. At an early age, he developed a love for music; he traveled, wrote, and played with a young gospel group called TH Productions. Becoming weary of all the fame, he chose to pursue a Sales & Marketing/Computer Science degree at Tuskegee University where he met his wife (Felicia) of 9 years. They have three children Elisha, Jailyn, and Bishop. Shaun spends his time producing, writing, public speaking/preaching, business planning, and helping others appreciate God and all of His blessings. He does all of this while growing a successful IT Recruiting firm, or so he says.
Sho Baraka (The Mane Attraction) was born in Calgary, AB Canada. For street cred, Sho reps Southern California where he was raised as a son of a pro football player. Growing up, he developed a love for sports, hip-hop and creative arts. He attended Tuskegee University before later graduating from the University of North Texas. While in college, he pursued a career in acting, directing, writing and music. Sho is now a recording artist with Reach Records and has recently released his sophomore album. He desires to create a lane for people who enjoy the arts to master their craft without compromising their faith. All that to say…he is “The Man.”

Maritza Mora (Research Ritz) is a self-proclaimed ninja and life champion hailing from Paterson, NJ. Ritz is also a former scholar-athlete (Florence Joyner on em’) of the University of Arizona where she majored in Communication with an emphasis in Business Management. She is currently pursing a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology at Georgia State University and breaking research records worldwide. Coming from a multi-cultural family, Ritz enjoys: learning about different cultures, poetry, art, music, sports and most of all–FOOD!
Caresse Spencer (Recovering Legalist) was born and raised in the beautiful, conservative state of Georgia; yup, she’s a sweet lil’ southern belle…well kind of. Caresse attended a performing arts school, hence her flare for the dramatic, but invested a lot of her time and parents’ money into her hoop dreams. She planned on being the female MJ, convinced she was born to be, but later realized she never consulted God about that. After following His direction, she became a journalist and radio show host at UConn; she graduated with a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in Political Science. Caresse now aspires to be the Christian Oprah and is debating with herself over whether or not she has to pray about that.

Jon Parker (Black Aussie) is a product of East St. Louis, Illinois, both Southern and Northern California, and one month in Australia. He has been stunning himself with his witty commentary and insightful thinking for over two decades. His humility and ego have been both a blessing and a curse, and he is now ready to share this complicated duality with the rest of the world. Jon’s contemporaries have titled him, “a social bigot,” as well as, “a know it all, who knows nothing,” but JP insists he doesn’t know everything–just more than most people. JP is currently contemplating whether to finish his master’s degree, get a “real” job, or pursue a career in professional dominoes.
Lauralee Ashby (LL Cool A) was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. With a father who was an artist, Laura’s pretty sure that she inherited an affinity for artistic expression. She honed her skills at a liberal arts high school that prepared her for studying art, photography, and architecture at Louisiana Tech University. After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Laura decided to teach and share her gift (her coolness) with others. She currently serves with Blueprint Church and Reach Records, and is everyone’s favorite photographer. She loves: teaching, ANYTHING creative, music, good coffee, baking/cooking, running, and sharing the love of Jesus to all. Basically, she thinks she’s the coolest chick on the team!
Damon Sumner (That Guy) was born and partially raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. He’s the oldest of three boys and is proud to say that he graduated from THE University of North Texas with a B.A. in Electronic News. He married the woman of his dreams, KaToya, and they’ve been married now for over 6,935 days. They have a son, Mission Josiah Sumner, who is 11 weeks old and counting. According to Damon, Mission is just like his papa: all man. Damon enjoys: all sports, writing, good books with a few pictures, and deliciously-prepared cheesecake. The reason he does this podcast: Sho owes him money!
